L&T Infotech bags $10 m contract from RVNL.

L&T Infotech has bagged a $10 million deal to implement an enterprise resource planning or ERP system at Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL).

RVNL is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways which has the mandate of fast tracking the implementation of rail infrastructure projects.

L&T Infotech, which is part of engineering conglomerate L&T, will deploy SAP ERP to integrate business operations within RVNL, according to a press statement.

As per the contract, the IT company will also provide services such as data centre hosting, collaboration and networking, including e-tendering, project management, finance, HR functions and others.
