KSIDC Out to Boost Eco-friendly Industry.

Hinting at a clear shift at the industrial policy of the Kerala, the government is all set to promote clean and green industries in god’s own country. A global consultancy will be appointed to link the state with such industries across the globe.

The arm of the state government to develop business, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), is the entity entrusted with the promotion of clean and green industries. A pre-bid meeting in this regard was held on March 15, to chalk a preliminary plan.

'The state government is now committed to promoting green industries in the state as it will be the way forward. Initial meetings on this have already been held. We have received some important positive responses and will conduct more such discussions to get a clearer picture,' T P Thomaskutty, executive director, KSIDC told Express.
