Kochi to get a mini Silicon Valley soon.

Two years from now, the Technology Innovation Zone (TIZ) that will come up at the Kinfra Hi-tech Park in Kalamassery would be akin to the Silicon Valley.

Delivering the welcome address at the launch of the first phase of TIZ recently, Principal IT Secretary P.H. Kurian said that the architecture plan for turning the entire 13.2 acres into a start-up hub has been finalised.

He said that the plan for the second building would be finalised and the construction would be launched this financial year itself. The new Entrepreneurship and Innovation policy set to come up for the consideration of the Cabinet shortly would serve as a blueprint for promoting innovative and entrepreneurial culture in the State.
