Kochi Infopark set to open new building
Infopark will dedicate its brand new IT building 'Jyothirmaya' to the State recently.
The 4,00,000 sq ft Jyothirmaya built in the second phase of Infopark will be officially launched by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. This is the first multi-tenanted IT building at the Phase 2 campus built on six acres at the notified SEZ area and is expected to provide employment to over 4,000 IT professionals.
Fifteen companies have already taken up space in the new building, as it offers spaces in small and big formats to small and medium companies as well as multinationals.
The campus with water frontage to the Kadamprayar river will have a total built-up area of 8 million sq ft when it is fully operational, offering direct employment to 80,000 IT professionals, said Hrishikesh Nair, CEO, IT Parks, Kerala.
According to Nair, Infopark has already taken possession of 125 acres for Phase 2 development.
