"KMRL to Commence Road Development Works"

The Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) is set to commence road development works spanning from Kunnumpuram to NGO Quarters Junction in Kakkanad. As part of this initiative, KMRL has issued tenders for widening works aimed at facilitating non-motorized transport (NMT) and enhancing traffic flow along the stretch.

These development efforts form an integral part of the ongoing preparatory works for the Metro's Phase-II line, extending from JLN Stadium to Infopark. KMRL's proactive measures signify a concerted effort to improve infrastructure and promote sustainable modes of transportation in the region.
