KMRL Presents Transport Projects before AFD.

Authorities of the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) made a detailed project presentation before The Agence Francaise de Developement (AFD), seeking financial support for the various urban transport projects of the State.

The projects included in the presentation are the phase-II expansion of the Kochi Metro Rail and the monorail projects mooted in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.

The AFD delegation has visited Kochi to review the progress of the ongoing Kochi Metro Rail works, for which they are providing financial support. The French Agency has already sanctioned 1500 crore for the Kochi Metro Rail.
