Kent RO to set up Rs. 100 cr plant at Noida.

Water purifier maker Kent RO Systems would set up a new manufacturing unit at Noida by investing Rs. 100 crore.

The company has been allotted required land for its third manufacturing unit and construction would commence soon.

'We have acquired the required land and would soon commence construction. We would start production in 2016-17 from that unit,' Kent RO Systems Chairman, Mahesh Gupta said.

The new plant would have manufacturing capacity to roll out 5,00,000 water purifiers in a year.

Presently, Kent RO has two manufacturing units at Roorkee in Uttarakhand, having capacity to roll out 5,00,000 water purifiers.

Speaking on the turnover for this financial year, he said, 'We would finish this fiscal with Rs. 600 crore turnover, which would be 30 per cent more than the last fiscal 2012-13. We expect this growth rate for the next five years.'

The company currently sell over 20 models of purifiers.
