KEC International sells 7.3 acre land to Tata Housing for Rs. 212 crore.
KEC International recently said it has completed a deal to sell 7.3 acre land parcel near Mumbai to realty firm Tata Housing for Rs. 212.35 crore.
On March 31, the company had announced that it has entered into an agreement for sale of its 7.3 acres land situated at Thane district in Maharashtra.
In a filing to the BSE, KEC International said: 'the company has executed a sale deed with Ardent Properties, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Housing Development Company Ltd. and has completed all the formalities of said sale.'
'Further the company has also received full consideration of Rs. 212.35 crore from Ardent,' it added.
KEC International is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) firm, having presence in about 50 countries. Its businesses includes power transmission, power systems, cables, railways, telecom and water.
Tata Housing is the real estate arm of Tata group.
