India’s electronics manufacturing sector is set for a boost as Wipro Electronics announced that its ₹500 crore printed circuit board (PCB) plant in Doddaballapura, Karnataka, will be operational within nine months. The announcement came alongside the Bengaluru Tech Summit, where the Karnataka government unveiled ₹2,600 crore in fresh commitments to strengthen the electronics ecosystem, including ₹1,750 crore specifically for PCB manufacturing.
