Karnataka Signs MoU with Germany’s Krones to Enhance Manufacturing in Kolar.

M B Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Krones, a Germany-based company, to establish a manufacturing facility at the Vemagal Industrial Park Phase 2 in Kolar.

In addition to setting up the new facility, discussions were held with Krones’ suppliers to encourage ancillary investments, which will further strengthen Karnataka’s industrial ecosystem.

This agreement is part of Karnataka’s global outreach to attract investments ahead of the Invest Karnataka 2025 Global Investors Meet. During the delegation’s visit to Krones’ headquarters in Neutraubling, the company’s leadership, including CEO, provided insights into their operations and manufacturing capabilities.

The MoU promises to fast-track the establishment of Krones' facility, with the Karnataka government offering full support to ensure smooth operations. Krones highlighted Karnataka’s robust infrastructure and business-friendly environment as key factors that align with its long-term growth strategy.
