Kadam Mobility to Deploy 500 TVS Electric Three-Wheelers.
TVS Motor Company has announced a significant collaboration with Kadam Mobility, an EV-first fleet and infrastructure platform, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the deployment of 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the current financial year (FY26).
This strategic partnership is poised to bolster sustainable public mobility across India's major metropolitan and Tier 1 cities. The initiative aims not only to green urban transportation but also to empower drivers and foster inclusive urban growth, according to a communication filed by TVS Motor Company with the National Stock Exchange.
Kadam Mobility plans a phased rollout of these electric vehicles, commencing with pilot zones by the second quarter of FY26. This will be followed by a progressive increase in vehicle volumes and expansion of route coverage, gradually integrating the electric three-wheelers into the public transport ecosystem.
Adding to the immediate impact of this collaboration, the first batch of TVS King EV MAX vehicles is scheduled to be rolled out this very month. This partnership also marks a significant diversification for Kadam Mobility, as it expands its operations beyond its established delivery fleets into the realm of shared and passenger mobility services.
A key aspect of this deployment, as highlighted in the announcement, is Kadam Mobility's commitment to creating dignified employment opportunities. The company specifically aims to benefit women and underrepresented communities, leveraging the expansion of electric mobility to foster social upliftment alongside environmental sustainability.
