Jupiter Hospitals Expands Footprint with 400-Bed Hospital in BKC, Mumbai.

Jupiter Life Line Hospitals has secured a key land parcel in Mumbai’s business district after winning a bid conducted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for ₹354 crore. The plot, located in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), spans approximately 10,026 square metres and has been allotted on an 80-year lease.

The hospital network plans to develop a 400-bed multi-specialty facility on the site, subject to regulatory approvals. The project is expected to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in one of Mumbai’s busiest commercial hubs.

The development comes as Jupiter continues to expand its presence across western India. The company currently operates four hospitals, including one in Indore, and has three more under construction, including the proposed BKC facility.

Commenting on the expansion, Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Ankit Thakker said the move aligns with the group’s strategy to scale up capacity and reach in high-demand urban markets.
