JK Lakshmi Cement Secures Preferred Bidder Position for Assam Limestone Mine.

JK Lakshmi Cement Limited has been declared the “Preferred Bidder” for the mining lease of the Juipahar New Umrangso Limestone Block (A and B) in Assam, following participation in an e-auction conducted by the state government.

The limestone block spans an area of 405 hectares and marks a strategic addition to JK Lakshmi Cement’s raw material portfolio, strengthening its supply chain for cement manufacturing.

The company said securing the preferred bidder status positions it to develop and operate the mining lease in line with regulatory approvals and sustainable mining practices.
