ITM Group to invest 200cr for ITMVU's expansion.

Mumbai-based ITM Group of Institutions will invest Rs. 200 crore in Vadodara for expanding of its newly set up education campus - ITM Vocational University (ITMVU).

The group has so far invested Rs. 80 crore in setting up the private university at Rawal village on Ajwa-Nimeta Road.

'We have so far invested Rs 80 crore for phase I development at ITM Vocational University which has been approved in March this year as a private university by Gujarat government. We will be investing another Rs. 200 crore in the next five years to expand the education campus,' P V Ramana, chairman and founder of ITM Group of Institutions told media persons.

'Vadodara is the fourth location in the country where we have set up an engineering college,' said Ramana.

'At ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, we are introducing three courses that have been specially designed through our collaboration with Siemens. This courses revolve around electrical power generation and distribution, automation and mechatronics. The curriculum for this courses has been designed by Siemens in Germany especially for us,' he said.
