ITI Secures ₹88 Crore Government Orders for Smart City, GIS Projects in Odisha & Chhattisgarh.
ITI Limited, a leading telecom manufacturing company, has announced securing new government contracts totaling approximately ₹88 crore. These significant wins will see ITI playing a crucial role in enhancing digital infrastructure and citizen services in Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
The larger portion of the contracts, valued at ₹54 crore, comes from the Cuttack Development Authority in Odisha. Under this agreement, ITI will be responsible for the procurement and installation of CCTV surveillance cameras across various locations in Cuttack, alongside the setup of a comprehensive traffic signal system.
In addition to the smart city initiatives, ITI Limited has also secured a contract worth ₹23.05 crore from the Cuttack Development Authority for the Land Intelligence Management System. This project involves developing a GIS-based application, further bolstering the region's digital capabilities.
Rajesh Rai, Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited, expressed his satisfaction with the contract wins. "We are happy to bag these new contracts from Governments of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, where we will be involved in aiding the state Governments in strengthening their digital infrastructure for providing efficient citizen services," Rai stated.
These contracts highlight ITI Limited's growing presence in government projects aimed at digital transformation and smart city development across India.
