Internal road work starts in Karachi

Karachi: On the directive of Nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal, the construction work on the internal road from Jauhar More to Rabia City Pahalwan Goth has started at a cost of Rs 7 million.

Nazim Gulshan Iqbal, Wasey Jalil, accompanied by Naib Nazim Shoaib Akhtar, TMO and TO, inspected the work.

It may be mentioned here that on the nazim’s directive, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board had laid sewerage lines here while this area is under cantonment jurisdiction.

The nazim had assured that after laying sewerage lines, the City District Government will construct the road and as promised by him the construction of the road has since been started.
