Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd bags ₹738.61 crore Letter of Acceptance.

Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) worth ₹738.61 crore (including GST) from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Office of the Chief Engineer, JICA-funded projects, Jaipur, Government of Rajasthan.

The order pertains to the design and build execution of a Narmada-based water supply project covering 275 villages across the Dhorimanna and Chouhtan blocks in Barmer district. The project falls under Package CP-04 (Chouhtan-2) of the JICA-funded Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II, executed on a SPR basis.

The scope of work includes project execution along with a 24-month completion timeline, followed by a one-year Defect Notification Period and 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M), highlighting a long-term infrastructure engagement for the company in the rural water supply sector.
