IL&FS emerges lowest bidder for Kharagpur to Baleshwar section of NH-60

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd has emerged the lowest bidder for the Orissa-West Bengal highway project.

The works include construction of new bridges/structures, repair of existing four-lane highway from Kharagpur to Baleshwar section of NH-60 for 119.30 km extending over Orissa and West Bengal under a build, operate, transfer (toll) project.

Floated by the National Highways Authority of India, the project, at an estimated cost of Rs 471.05 crore, has a concession period of 24 years.
