IICT to Set Up Science Park in City.

To promote science among the school and college going students, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) is planning to develop a Science Park on its Narayanaguda premises. The park, will be showcasing the significant technologies from entire CSIR, which will be kept open for students and general public.

Some of the key projects of CSIR-IICT that will be showcased include ‘Membrane technology’ for pure drinking water in fluorosis-affected areas. The construction of the park is likely to take one-and-half-years.

Chandrasekhar, director of IICT, said they would also develop a facility at the park where farmers would be educated about pheromones technology. Hyderabad collector K Nirmala inaugurated a ‘Swachh Bharat Bus’.
