ICCI and Cochin College Sign MoU for Industry-Academia Collaboration.

The Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and Cochin College have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote collaboration between academia and industry. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience, ultimately enhancing students' educational outcomes and employability.

The MoU was signed by Akshay Agarwal, President of ICCI, and Mridhula Menon V, Principal of Cochin College.

The collaboration will focus on several initiatives, including internships, training programs, research and development (R&D), industry visits, guest lectures, seminars, and placement support. It will provide students with hands-on experience through internships, workshops, and training programs conducted in partnership with industry experts.

The ICCI-Cochin College partnership is expected to serve as a model for future industry-academia collaborations, setting a benchmark for such initiatives across India, according to a press release.
