HZL Signs Agreement with CMR Green Technologies for Zinc Park Facility.

Hindustan Zinc Ltd, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer and among the top five silver producers globally, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CMR Green Technologies Ltd to establish a manufacturing facility at Zinc Park in Rajasthan.

The partnership marks the second major collaboration for the proposed Zinc Park, following an earlier MoU signed with Tripura Group. The park is envisioned as India’s first integrated ecosystem dedicated to zinc-based industrial applications, the company said in a statement.

Under the agreement, CMR Green Technologies—one of India’s largest non-ferrous metal recycling companies and among the largest globally—will focus on manufacturing high-quality, low-emission zinc alloys at the facility.

These alloys are widely used in key sectors including automotive, infrastructure, die-casting, and consumer goods, and the collaboration is expected to strengthen the supply chain for sustainable zinc-based materials in India.
