Hyderabad: LB Nagar underpass, flyover at Kamineni junction thrown open for traffic.

The Left Hand Side underpass at LB Nagar and Right Hand Side flyover at Kamineni junction were thrown open for traffic today. Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy along with Mayor Bonthu Rammohan inaugurated the flyover and the underpass.

The underpass and the flyover were built as a part of the Strategic Road Development Plan under package II. While the underpass was built at a cost of Rs. 14 crore, the flyover was built with a cost of Rs 43 crore. The inauguration of these two structures will ease traffic congestion.

The LB Nagar crossroads often witnesses huge traffic jams causing inconvenience to the public with the vehicular movement. The 519-metre long LB Nagar underpass will facilitate the smooth flow of traffic from Owaisi hospital and Srisailam end towards Secunderabad while the 940-metre flyover will ensure free flow of traffic from Secunderabad to Owaisi hospital and Srisailam.
