The planned dedication of the Rajasthan refinery by Narendra Modi on April 21, 2026, has been postponed after a fire broke out near the crude distillation unit, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said recently..
According to the ministry, the fire has been brought under control and no casualties have been reported. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident and to implement necessary corrective measures.
A revised date for the refinery’s dedication will be announced at a later time, the ministry added.
