HGS Arm Secures Uttar Pradesh Broadband Project for 2 Million Homes.

OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), the broadband subsidiary of Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uttar Pradesh’s State Transformation Commission (STC) to roll out large-scale broadband connectivity across the state under Project GANGA — Government Assisted Network for Growth & Advancement.

The agreement was signed in Lucknow by Manoj Kumar Singh, CEO of STC, and Vynsley Fernandes, Whole-Time Director of HGS and MD & CEO of OIL, in the presence of Suresh Kumar Khanna, Uttar Pradesh’s Minister for Finance & Parliamentary Affairs.

Under the project, OIL will empower 8,000 to 10,000 local entrepreneurs at the Nyaya Panchayat level to operate as independent Digital Service Providers, delivering wired broadband services to homes and businesses throughout the state.
