Growth Plan: AISATS eyes expansion into cargo hubs, secondary airports.

The Tata Group-SATS joint venture AISATS, specializing in ground-handling and logistics, is gearing up to expand its footprint in aviation services, cargo, and related businesses.

Currently operating at eight airports—including Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, and cargo hubs in Ranchi, Noida (upcoming), and Raipur—AISATS aims to extend its presence to secondary airports under the government’s regional air connectivity UDAN scheme as opportunities arise.

The company is also preparing to enter larger metro airports such as Chennai and Kolkata once existing regulatory restrictions are lifted.

This expansion aligns with AISATS’s strategy to strengthen its position in India’s growing aviation sector.
