The contract, issued under tender number LKCC(02)-01 on June 9, 2026, will be executed over a period of 540 days. Five bidders participated in the tender, with GHV India emerging as the lowest bidder (L1), while the remaining four bidders were rejected after financial evaluation.

The 11.2-km corridor will include 12 stations, and the Vasant Kunj depot is expected to play a critical role in supporting train operations, maintenance, and overall service reliability for the line.
