GE Vernova T&D India Ltd awarded new contract.

GE Vernova T&D India Limited has been awarded a contract by AESL Projects Limited for the design and establishment of a 2,500 MW, ±500 kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) VSC Terminal Station.

The project, valued under the contract dated 20 December 2025, involves the construction of two 1,250 MW terminals to facilitate the evacuation of renewable power from KPS 3 (Khavda) to South Olpad. The contract highlights GE Vernova T&D India’s role in supporting large-scale renewable energy infrastructure development in the country.
