Gamesa India bags 50 MW wind power project from Atria Power.

Gamesa India, a renewable energy provider, today said it has bagged an order for setting up 50 MW wind power project at Kayathar in Tamil Nadu from Perpetual Investment, a group entity of Atria Power.

'Gamesa has strengthened its formidable presence in the country with a new order for 50 MW turnkey wind power project with Perpetual Investment - a group entity of Atria Power, which will be developed at Kayathar in Tamil Nadu,' the company said in a statement.

Being a turnkey contract, Gamesa will handle the entire infrastructure needed to operate the project with the supply, erection and commissioning of 25 units of G97 2 MW wind turbines with a hub height of 104 m, specially designed for low wind sites in India, it added.

This project will be commissioned by March 2016.
