Fresh tenders invited for Dindi balancing reservoir.

The Telangana government recently permitted the chief engineer of Nagarjunasagar project to invite fresh tenders for construction of Dindi balancing reservoir of Srisailam left bank canal tunnel scheme across Dindi river near Chandampet in Nalgonda district.

The CE had suggested non-EPC contract to avoid further loss of time as Dindi reservoir formed a vital link in the total tunnel scheme. He informed that finalisation of tenders and award of work will be taken up only after receipt of GO on closure of EPC contract.
