Evren Bags 750 MW Renewable Energy Supply Contract from NTPC.

Evren recently announced that it has signed a 750 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with state-owned power major NTPC, covering a mix of solar, wind and battery energy storage projects across Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The agreement is among the largest renewable energy projects secured by capacity in India and represents a major milestone in Evren’s growth plans, the company said in a statement.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate around 2.5 billion units of clean electricity annually and help avoid approximately 1.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year, the company added.

The deal strengthens Evren’s position in India’s renewable energy sector as the country continues to expand clean power generation capacity and integrate energy storage solutions.
