Eon Electric to expand Haridwar unit capacity by 2015.

Electrical equipment maker Eon Electric plans to ramp up the manufacturing capacity of its Haridwar plant, which produces its signature product LED lamps, to one million units per month by March 2015, a company official said.

'At present, we manufacture 1 lakh LED lamps in a month and we plan to take this number to 1 million (10 lakh) by March 2015,' Chairman and Managing Director V P Mahendru Eon Electric told PTI.
