Embassy to Build 3 Million Sq Ft Bengaluru Office Space in ₹1,500 Crore Project.
Realty firm Embassy Developments plans to invest ₹1,500 crore to develop a 3 million sq ft office complex in Bengaluru as part of its strategy to expand its commercial real estate portfolio and generate steady rental income from office assets.
The company, which primarily operates in the residential segment, has a presence across Bengaluru, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and Delhi-NCR. The upcoming office development marks a move to diversify its portfolio while leveraging demand for commercial spaces in Bengaluru.
In an interview with PTI, Embassy Developments Managing Director Aditya Virwani said the company’s primary focus would continue to be its growing residential business. However, the firm sees opportunities in commercial real estate and aims to build a portfolio of income-generating assets.
Virwani highlighted that the residential segment remains a key growth driver for the company, with the firm continuing to expand its housing projects across major metropolitan markets. The planned Bengaluru office project is expected to strengthen Embassy Developments’ presence in the commercial real estate space while adding a long-term rental income stream.
