Delta Electronics Expands in Tamil Nadu with Two New Factories in Krishnagiri.
Delta Electronics, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, has expanded its footprint in Tamil Nadu with the inauguration of two new factory buildings at its Krishnagiri facility.
The new additions are part of Delta's planned $500 million investment across India. These two factories bring the company’s total number of manufacturing units in Krishnagiri to four. The foundation stone for the new buildings was laid recently by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Chief Minister Stalin praised Delta for its contributions to the state's economic growth. He also encouraged the company to further increase its operations. "As a next step, you should consider expanding your operations to the central and western regions of Tamil Nadu," he said. Stalin also urged Delta to establish an R&D Centre in the state, citing its "immense talent potential."
