Delhi Metro green, pink line stations to be connected by a walkway soon.

For an easy interchange between green and pink lines, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is constructing a walkway of 230 metres connecting the two lines. Trains running on Delhi Metro’s Green Line will stop between Punjabi Bagh and Shivaji Park stations. Passengers will get down and walk to the Punjabi Bagh West station of the Pink Line. The green line and pink line are almost perpendicular at their point of mutual passage. "To facilitate efficient interchange, additional platforms will be constructed in green line where passengers will be allowed to board and deboard. The passengers will then go down from the platforms and take the walkway to finally reach the concourse area of Punjabi Bagh West," DMRC tweeted. This will be the first interchange facility of its sort in the Delhi Metro network where passengers will change trains.
