"DCM Shriram Commissions New Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in Gujarat"

DCM Shriram Ltd has commissioned a new hydrogen peroxide plant at its chemical complex in Jhagadia, located in the Bharuch district of Gujarat. The plant, with a capacity of 52,500 tonnes per annum, officially began operations on August 19 at 9 am.

This hydrogen peroxide plant is a downstream addition to DCM Shriram's existing hydrogen production unit at the complex, further expanding the company’s chemicals business portfolio. Hydrogen peroxide produced at the plant will serve a variety of industries, including bleaching, water and wastewater treatment, chemical synthesis, food processing, mining, metallurgy, and environmental applications.
