CtrlS Collaborates with Uttarakhand Government to Establish ₹250 Crore Data Center
CtrlS Datacenters Ltd. has solidified its commitment to Uttarakhand by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government. This landmark agreement entails an investment of ₹250 crore for the establishment of a cutting-edge Edge datacenter in the state, boasting a capacity of 10 MW. This ambitious project is set to be realized over the course of the next 8-10 years.
The proposed Rated-4 datacenter in Uttarakhand, conceived by CtrlS, is poised to serve as a hub for colocation, managed services, and cloud solutions, specifically tailored to accommodate mission-critical workloads. Notably, the Edge datacenter is strategically designed to support Industry 4.0 applications and other latency-sensitive processes.
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman of CtrlS Datacenters, expressed his enthusiasm about this strategic move, stating, "The State of Uttarakhand is a fast-growing economic region in India, making it a strategic location for CtrlS Datacenters’ ongoing expansion.
