CSL Hosts Drydocks World Delegation for Ship Repair Cluster Development.

A high-level delegation from Drydocks World, a subsidiary of DP World, recently visited Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen their collaboration aimed at significantly boosting India's ship repair and offshore fabrication facilities.

The delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Captain Rado Antolovic, undertook a comprehensive tour of CSL's key facilities in Kochi. This included the main shipyard, the recently commissioned 310-metre dry dock, the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF), and the Marine Engineering Training Institute.

This visit builds upon a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed between the two entities in Mumbai last month. The partnership is strategically focused on introducing global best practices to India's burgeoning maritime sector and expanding its capacity in alignment with the country's national maritime goals. The collaboration is expected to play a crucial role in developing a robust ecosystem for ship repair and offshore fabrication in India.
