CM to lay roadmap for Mumbai's infra projects at corporate meet.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis is expected to lay the agenda to spur growth in infrastructure projects in Mumbai Metropolitan Region at the Mumbai Next Conference on February 6, which will be attended by corporate honchos. Mumbai First, an NGO, has organized the event. RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani, Tata Group chairman Cyrus Mistry and others are expected to attend the event. MMRDA metropolitan commissioner UPS Madan said, 'This will be first formal interaction with the corporate world whose feedback is essential to leverage Mumbai's growth potential. The chief minister is keen to ensure the projects' timely implementation. He is expected to lay the roadmap for future growth of Mumbai.' MMRDA has, in the past, only interacted informally with corporates. Madan said, 'We will seek the corporate world's support to implement several projects on a PPP (public-private partnership) basis.'
