Centre Considering Textile Park in TS: Minister.

A new foundation stone would be laid for the revival of Fertiliser Corporation of India’s Ramagundam plant, Hansraj Ahir, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, announced this here while inspecting the ongoing renovation work at the plant in Ramagundam.

Speaking to reporters after the visit, Ahir announced that the construction work of RFCL would be completed in the three years.

“The Union government has taken a decision to revive four industrial units that were closed due to lock-out and Ramagundam FCI is part of that action plan,” he explained.

Referring to the proposal of setting up new industries, he said that the Union government is seriously thinking of setting up a new textile park in Telangana state.
