Carrier has commenced construction of its industrial-grade chiller manufacturing facility in Sri City with an investment of more than ₹863 crore.
The project is expected to generate over 721 direct jobs and create more than 3,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, further boosting industrial development in the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday in the presence of Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh, along with David Gitlin and Michael L. Gierges.
