Cabinet clears proposal to set up 'green hospital' at AIIMS.

The Cabinet recently cleared a proposal to sign an agreement between a Japanese organisation, the Finance Ministry and the Health Ministry to set up a 'green hospital' demonstration project at AIIMS.

A statement said the objective of the project is to contribute to the efficient use of energy and the protection of the environment in India by installing the energy efficient and IT-related equipment in AIIMS Delhi and demonstrating the energy management system and IT system.
