BHEL bags Rs. 1,023-crore order.

Power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has secured an order worth over Rs. 1,000 crore from Neyveli Lignite.

The order is for turbine generator and will be used in 1,000-megawatt (MW) lignite fired new Thermal Power Project at Neyveli in Tamilnadu.

BHEL,s scope of works includes manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Steam Turbine Generators and Auxiliaries along with associated civil works.
