Bharatiya Mahila Bank to open 60 more branches this fiscal.

Bharatiya Mahila Bank (BMB) will open another 55-60 branches pan-India basis this fiscal, Chairperson and Managing Director, Usha Anathasubramanian, said.

In a span of seven months since its inception in August last year, BMB already has a network of 23 branches, spread across the country.

'Most of the additional 55-60 branches will come up in tier 2-6 cities. We will also meet the 20 per cent rural rollout requirement,' Ananthasubramanian told Business Line.


BMB signed a memorandum of understanding with Naturals, a hair and beauty chain, that is looking to expand presence in North India.

Under the MoU, BMB will extend financial assistance to women entrepreneurs looking to set up a Naturals spa, salon or lounge.
