Beautification Works in Visakhapatnam Nearing Completion.

GVMC commissioner Pravin Kumar directed that the beautification works be finished by the end of the month. He also suggested that security guards be arranged at important places.

As the Visakha Utsav was also shifted to the month of January, Pravin Kumar felt that the rest of the days could be used to finish the pending works.

Expressing his satisfaction over the city beautification, the GVMC commissioner said that there would be huge crowd movement during the first, second and third week of January, as New Year, CII conference, Visakha Utsav, Sankranthi celebrations are in the pipeline. Since IFR is also just round the corner, the works and the city should attract incoming tourists and guests.

Meanwhile, Pravin Kumar also insisted that officials provide security guards and put up information boards at important as well as vulnerable areas to ensure that cleanliness is maintained in the areas.

He also suggested planting carpet grass from Vemana Mandiram till the Siripuram Circle. The commissioner informed that the works at the Rock Garden, Gokul Park and few others are nearing completion.
