BCPL Railway Infra bags ₹4.72 crore order from Howrah Division of Eastern Railway.

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has secured a new order for electrical railway infrastructure work in the Eastern Railway’s Howrah Division, marking a fresh addition to its order book in the Indian rail sector.

The company has received a letter of acceptance for 25 KV overhead equipment (OHE) work linked to the replacement of old guy rod assemblies in the division. The project is valued at ₹47.23 million and is scheduled to be executed over 18 months.

Announcing the development, Chairman Aparesh Nandi said the company is pleased with the new order intake and remains optimistic about future opportunities in the railway EPC segment. He noted that BCPL continues to focus on contributing to rail connectivity across the country, including underserved and rural regions.

“We are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months,” Nandi said, adding that the company expects steady project flow in railway modernization, including line upgrades, new track additions, and speed enhancement initiatives across India.

The company also highlighted its ongoing role in supporting Indian Railways’ infrastructure expansion, particularly in electrification and system upgrade projects, amid sustained demand for execution of EPC and modification works across the network.
