Bajaj Group power plant's second unit attains full capacity.

The Lalitpur Power Generation Co. Ltd. (LPGCL), part of the Bajaj Group, has successfully commissioned the full load capacity of its second unit by achieving generation of 665 MW on recent evening.

The group is setting up a thermal power plant of 1980W (660x3 MW) of which the first unit of 660 MW was commissioned in September 2015 and the second unit of 660 MW was synchronised 15 days back.

The second unit has achieved full capacity, and a little more, within 15 days of the unit being synchronised.

The third unit of 660 MW is expected to be commissioned by March 2016.

With the the Bajaj group has attained the position of leading power producer of the state, creating capacity of 2,500 MW.
