Aurionpro Secures Landmark Contract for Chennai Metro Phase II Fare Collection System.

Aurionpro Solutions, a prominent technology provider, has secured a key contract from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (CMRL) to implement automated fare collection (AFC) systems for Phase II of the Chennai Metro. The project covers Corridor 3 (Sholinganallur to Sipcot) and Corridor 5 (Koyambedu to Elcot Park).

Aurionpro will oversee the end-to-end delivery of AFC systems, including design, manufacturing, installation, testing, and ongoing maintenance. The system is designed to handle high passenger volumes and enhance operational efficiency, offering a seamless experience for commuters.

Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head of Tech Innovation at Aurionpro, highlighted the company’s commitment to ‘Make in India,’ with automated swing gates to be manufactured at their Ghaziabad facility.
