Aster DM Healthcare Announces Five-Year Expansion Plan in Kerala, Karnataka, and Central India.

Aster DM Healthcare is embarking on an ambitious five-year growth plan, focusing on expanding its presence in Kerala, Karnataka, and Central India. The company's Deputy Managing Director, Alisha Moopen, has identified these regions as "key growth hubs" for the healthcare provider.

“For us, the big goal over the next five years is really going to consolidate the position in Kerala, Karnataka and central India,” Moopen stated, highlighting the company’s strategic intent to strengthen its foothold in these markets.

Aster DM's deep roots in Kerala trace back to 2001. The company has built a substantial network there, which now includes six multispecialty hospitals with 2,653 beds, 201 laboratories, patient experience centers, and 84 pharmacies, all part of its integrated healthcare solutions.

Despite facing increasing competition in Kerala, Moopen sees it as a positive sign of a healthy and growing market. She told businessline that as a leading provider, Aster DM's focus will be on "continuous enhancement—scaling capacity, deepening our clinical expertise, and leveraging technology to deliver even more differentiated care.”
