Aptiv Opens New Technical Centre in Chennai.

Aptiv PLC, a leading global technology company specializing in future-focused solutions, announced the opening of a new Software, Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) Technical Centre in Chennai recently.

This new facility marks the company’s second center in Chennai and its fourth in India, adding to its existing presence in Pune and Bengaluru. According to a company official, the center will feature state-of-the-art AI/Machine Learning (ML) power labs designed to accelerate the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The new technical center is part of a previously announced $60 million investment by the company two years ago. The facility is expected to accommodate up to 500 engineers by 2026 and will be equipped with advanced labs and testing infrastructure to drive innovation in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and safety-critical systems.
