Apple Unveils New Office in Bengaluru

In a strategic move to bolster its corporate footprint in India, Apple has unveiled its latest office at Minsk Square in the bustling heart of Bengaluru. Occupying a substantial 15 floors, the contemporary premises is designed to accommodate up to 1,200 employees, offering dedicated lab spaces, collaborative zones, and wellness areas, including the renowned Caffe Macs.

Setting itself apart with a commitment to local aesthetics, the interior design incorporates regionally-sourced materials such as stone, wood, and fabric in the walls and flooring. The workspace is adorned with native plants, seamlessly blending aesthetics with sustainability.

Underlining its dedication to environmental conservation, Apple's new office adopts best practices in energy efficiency, aspiring to operate entirely on 100% renewable energy. The ambitious goal is to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, the highest level of LEED certification. Apple has maintained carbon neutrality for its corporate operations since 2020 and has been powering all its facilities with 100% renewable energy since 2018.

This milestone office joins Apple's existing corporate locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. The Bengaluru-based employees contribute to a wide spectrum of the company's operations, spanning software, hardware, services, IS&T, operations, and customer support.

As a major employer in India, Apple currently boasts nearly 3,000 employees, and its collaboration with Indian suppliers supports hundreds of thousands of jobs nationwide. The company actively engages in initiatives that contribute to environmental protection and educational accessibility, partnering with organizations like Frank Water to empower communities on the outskirts of Bengaluru in safeguarding their watersheds.
